CHRE delegation visits Army Public School- Peshawar
An intra-provincial delegation of human rights defenders led by Mr. Samson Salamat, Director Centre for Human Rights Education- Pakistan visited the Army Public School Peshawar, the school which was attacked by the terrorists on 16th December 2014.  This solidarity visit was done at the completion of one month of the barbaric attack on the innocent school children and their teachers.
The members of delegation at this occasion expressed solidarity with the families of all those who lost their lives and appreciated the courage of the children and their teachers for rejoining the school and defeating the atmosphere of fear and terror. The other members of the delegations included Mr. Deedar Ahmed Mirani from Sindh Province (Chief Executive PAHEL- Pakistan, Mr. Adhu Ram from Punjab Province (General Secretary of CHRE), Ms. Rubina Aziz from Chitral- Gilgit Baltistan, Mr. Shamas Naveed of Bridge Organization- Peshawar  and other human rights defenders from KPK.  
The delegation observed silence and offered prayers for all those who lost their lives in the deadly attack at the Army Public School and also lightened candles to pay homage to their sacrifices.
